Hey guys. Star Camp (shasta) is happening this year, on the weekend of September 15-17.

I need you to RSVP off tribe, to goldie@djgoldilox.com

There will be a separate email list which will become active after Burning Man with more info....this isn't a big gathering. It's family, and it's not on the beaten path.

Same weekend as last year, and same weekend as Earthdance (sorry, we're having our own real earthdance)

here are pics from Last year:

cheers,

Gee, you don't wanna pay close to Burning man priced tix for a hippy jam?

So, check out the prayer for peace MP3...(the song that gets played around the world at all the earthdances) have you actually heard it?

should we play it up in Shasta? for laughs? Because you know some people would be deeply moved by this.

I should make a crack house version of it. maybe not.

Are we so jaded that we...awww fuck it. Let's do a disco house glitch remix.

Strangely enough, I pray for peace an awful lot, for myself, my friends, my family, and the world as a whole. I dunno, explicit new ageiness is just so caucasian. From the mouths of affluence come our world's intention? Guess it's better to have folks injecting stuff like earthdance into the consciousness than none at all, but damn, that John Tesh soundtrack is screaming for a good ole fashion drunken techno yodel. Pop the cork and shake the dice. YAHTZEE!

Sept 15-17 is the only weekend after Burning Man and before it gets too cold (or snowy) to do something up in Shasta. So happens to be the same weekend as Earthdance, but, that doesn't matter since Star Camp is such a tiny gathering.

So the diss on Earthdance was a JOKE....that song is really bad did you hear it? Corny is the word that comes to mind.

I just really can't get all super shanti zen omlike with that many people. I just have to look at the ground and try to suppress my uncontrollable laughter while everybody holds hands and gets all spiritual in public. It's a nervous tick of mine.

OK you know me....you know where I'm coming from...

                  word.........

for the record, though, my diss on earthdance was *not* a joke.

i might do this....as long as it's not 'ooga booga' and let's hold hands and 'pretend' love?
i'm lovin' you more and more, goldi!
                    sounds good to me!
